Hello Shoppers! My name is Deddeh (pronounced Deh-deh; Liberian tribal name meaning flight/takeoff). I am a mother, a wife, a nonprofit leader during the day, and a life-long scented candle lover myself. I have purchased candles of different varieties not really understanding how toxic the materials many large and well-branded companies put on the market until I started to do my own research. Paraffin wax, a petroleum by-product created when crude oil is refined into gasoline, is widely used. Over time, I have lit candles that burned half way, to the side, in the middle, or just some that just wouldn’t burn.
My love for candles wasn’t dying because it sets the ambience for my relaxation, romance, and special events. As a mom to a toddler, I also no longer had interest in bringing toxic air contaminants into my home. With my newfound knowledge, I set on a journey, reignited and perfected my candle making skill that was acquired decades ago at youth camp.
I started creating my own home candles and melts from 100% natural and renewable soy wax grown and produced in the U.S. I eventually added essential oil sprays with a base of organic and wild crafted witch hazel to my list of at-home hand-poured products.
I now share these gem creations with the world and hope to forever bring to your home and other spaces, lovely fragrances that are refreshing, non-toxic, clean-burning, and overall healthy.
Thank you for your support and love!
