About Us
Deddeh (pronounced Deh-deh; tribal name meaning flight/takeoff) was born in Liberia, West Africa and currently lives in Georgia, USA with her family. She is a wife, mother of two young boys, higher education grants professional, crafts(wo)man, and a life-long scented candle lover. She has worked in grants and corporate social responsibility for most of my career, working for Chevron, federal government, and a handful of private and public universities. Deddeh grew up in a country that is ranked among the top poorest countries in the world but considers herself fortunate to be where she is today, so 5% of all sales are donated to a charity in Liberia to support women's economic empowerment and skills development. Her dream is to build a center that teaches less fortunate women the crafts that she has perfected to enable them create pathways out of poverty.

We are committed to the use of sustainable and eco-friendly practices throughout our production process- from sourcing 100% natural soy wax, which burns cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin wax to curating non-toxic phthalate fragrance oils that present captivating scents that evoke tranquility and comfort. We specialize in handmade scented candles and room & linen sprays. We also create beautiful, handcrafted pieces: candle jars, decorative trays and a variety of home decor items made from concrete.

Materials and Ingredients
100% Soy Wax
All candles and wax melts made by DH Home Fragrances are made from 100% soy wax grown by American farmers. We use paraffin-free, non-toxic wax that has no petrochemical content. We guarantee that our candles contain no hidden dangers in the form of additives, including microcrystalline and polyethylenes
Fragrance Oil
Our fragrances are either natural essential oils or phthalate-free fragrance oils. Fragrance oils are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance. Our candles have a longer burn time and the fragrance is gradually released throughout the burn time.
100% Cotton Wicks
We currently use vegan friendly, cruelty-free cotton wick braided with thin paper for a clean burn and even burn.
Concrete Jars and Accent Pieces
At our workshop, we take pride in the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each of our concrete vessels and accent pieces. From the selection of high-quality materials to the attention to detail throughout the process- from mixing to pouring, and finishing- we strive to provide you with a unique, one-of-a kind piece.
Concrete vessels are considered a sustainable product because of the following: 1) Durability; 2) Recyclability; 3) Minimal Waste; and 4) Versatility.
We suggest that you clean (with warm water + rubbing alcohol) and repurpose your jar. It can be used as a planter, decorative piece or organizer, extending their lifespan.
Our Room Spray
A combination of natural essential oils and a 100% Organic Gluten-Free + Non-GMO Grain Alcohol (derived from corn) base, our room sprays are all-natural and will bring you refreshment and an aromatic relief. Some separation may occur between the oils and base because the product is in its natural state and chemical free. Please "shake + spray" before each use
